Supervisory Board appoints Sabine Barthauer as a member of DZ HYP's Management Board

At its most recent meeting, the Supervisory Board of DZ HYP appointed Ms Sabine Barthauer as successor to Manfred Salber, who will be leaving DZ HYP’s Management Board on 31 December 2020. Accordingly, Ms Barthauer will assume responsibility for all back-office units, as well as for Restructuring & Recovery and Risk Controlling.
Sabine Barthauer has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Hypothekenbank Actien-Gesellschaft (“Deutsche Hypo”) since August 2016, where her responsibilities include the real estate financing business as well as Structured Finance, Real Estate Investment Banking, Syndication and Treasury. Uwe Fröhlich, Chairman of DZ HYP’s Supervisory Board, commented after the meeting: “With Sabine Barthauer we are delighted to have been able to attract such a renowned real estate finance expert; we are very much looking forward to working together with her.”
