European Online Dispute Resolution Platform
The European Commission has launched a European Online Dispute Resolution Platform (OD Platform) under http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Consumers may use this OD Platform for an out-of-court settlement of a dispute arising from online contracts with an EU-based company.

Possibility of settling disputes
The Bank participates in the dispute settlement procedure of the Cooperative Financial Network. Therefore, retail customers, corporate customers, and – in the case of being denied the request of opening a basic banking account – also non-clients, can call upon the Ombudsman of German Cooperative Banks ( http://www.bvr.de/Service/Kundenbeschwerdestelle). More details are provided by the Procedural Guideline for Resolving Customer Complaints Out-of-Court in the German Banking Sector ("Verfahrensordnung für die außergerichtliche Schlichtung von Kundenbeschwerden im deutschen Bankgewerbe"), which is available from the Bank upon request. The complaint is to be directed in text form (e.g. by post, facsimile or e-mail) to Customer Complaints at the National Association of German Cooperative Banks (Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken – "BVR").
