Earlier today, DZ HYP published its new research report “Real Estate Market Germany 2026”. The report examines developments in the office, retail and residential asset classes in Germany’s seven top locations: Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. It also assesses the fundamental market outlook in times of ground-breaking changes to society, the economy and the environment.

DZ HYP has undertaken to observe the UN Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB). By signing the Principles, a framework launched by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) alongside banks worldwide, the Bank is actively supporting the promotion of responsible banking practices and contributing to the sustainable finance agenda. Specifically, the Bank pledges to report regularly on the sustainability activities anchored in its business strategy.

DZ HYP successfully placed a €1 billion Mortgage Pfandbrief issue on the capital markets on Wednesday, 7 January 2026. Investor demand for the benchmark bond, which carries a 3.125 per cent coupon and is due to mature on 28 February 2036, was exceptionally broad.
