The volume of Pfandbriefe in circulation appears to be normalizing and now amounts to over €400 billion. The slight growth is being driven primarily by mortgage Pfandbriefe. In the study, we take a closer look at why Pfandbriefe are an interesting investment and which investors rely on them.
Sustainability also remains an important topic. We therefore provide detailed background information on the requirements for green and social Pfandbriefe. We also show how the market for sustainable Pfandbriefe has developed in recent years.
For the first time, our Pfandbrief Market Report, published today, consists of two parts. In addition to the study with current developments, a second part with detailed questions and answers on the legal framework exists. From now on, the first part will be published as usual once a year, while we will update and adapt the legal framework if required. Thus we are able to provide interested parties with the latest information at all times.
