DZ HYP. Because we can.
Pursuant to section 16 of the German Regulation on Remuneration in Financial Institutions (Institutsvergütungsverordnung – "InstVergV") in conjunction with Article 450 of Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013 (CRR), DZ HYP is obliged to disclose its remuneration policy and practice for those employees whose activities have a material impact upon the Bank's risk profile ("risk takers"). Disclosure in recent years – including the 2013 financial year – was in accordance with section 7 of the InstVergV (old wording).
In this context,
- the structure of remuneration systems, in particular the material remuneration parameters and the composition of remuneration components, and the manner in which remuneration is paid; and
- the total amount of all remuneration, divided into fixed and variable remuneration, plus the number of recipients of the variable remuneration, must be published, and updated at least once a year.
