Our goal is to expand your professional expertise for the long term. Ultimately each individual's qualifications are an essential aspect to our lasting success. Another factor is that we deliberately create an environment that fosters motivation and lasting commitment, and we offer first-class and bespoke continuing professional development opportunities, ranging from in-house seminars to the DZ HYP Real Estate Academy to degree programmes that can be pursued while working.

DZ HYP Real Estate Academy

In cooperation with the renowned IRE|BS Immobilienakademie (IRE|BS Real Estate Academy), DZ HYP offers its employees an exclusive one-year continuing professional development programme focused on real estate: the DZ HYP Real Estate Academy. The programme is designed to meet the professional demands of the real estate business, and is aimed at delivering a better understanding of our markets and the issues connected to the real estate business. The instructors are renowned IRE|BS lecturers, all of whom are top experts in the field.

This enables participants to obtain the best possible professional qualifications – which go far beyond financing and constitute a valuable view “beyond the horizon”. For the duration of the training, the participants will work in groups on a practice-oriented case study, which will be subsequently presented to a commission of representatives of IRE|BS and DZ HYP, including members of the Management Board.

Earning a degree while working, and major CPD measures

DZ HYP also supports employees who want to earn a degree – ideally in a discipline that complements their business segment or the Bank – while continuing to work.  If this additional qualification requires the employee to spend longer periods of time at their educational institution, a sabbatical or temporary reduction in hours can be considered. In coordination with us, the choice of educational institution or training provider can be flexible.

As a member and sponsor of the REAL ESTATE AND LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION, we also support the Master’s programme in Real Estate and Leadership at the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, which can be pursued while working.
