Employee Matters

Motivated and skilled employees are the groundwork for our long-term entrepreneurial success. We want to provide a working environment in which everyone is treated with respect, openness and fairness. A performance-based remuneration, flexible working hours and a family-conscious corporate culture is our standard. Moreover, we provide our employees with extensive CPD offers, social benefits and a comprehensive occupational health management. In recognition of our family-oriented human resources policy, DZ HYP has held the “audit berufundfamilie®” certificate awarded by the non-profit Hertie Foundation for some years now.

Key elements of this human resources policy include personnel development, talent recruitment and talent training, and moves to promote career advancement amongst women. Another key topic is the demographic change. Our demographic concept, adopted in 2019, supports us in ensuring the Bank’s ability to perform, even if framework conditions change. Within the scope of this concept, the Management Board has set targets for the proportion of women in executive positions.

Proportion of women at management level (in per cent)

 Target until
30 June 2024
Division Head level126
Department Head level2317
